Disney has revealed the first collection of Star Wars: Visions branded apparel, which will be available in stores in time for the anime anthology's Sept. 22 debut on Disney+.
The line features shirts, hoodies, socks and other items of clothing branded with iconography and characters from Star Wars: Visions. All nine shorts from the anthology series will be represented with at least one piece of apparel from the collection. The collection also commissioned to Kamikaze Douga character designer Takashi Okazaki to create newly reimagined versions of Star Wars icons such as Darth Vader, R2-D2 and Boba Fett for the collection. Okazaki worked on the one of the short stories in Visions, entitled "The Duel," which tells an alternate version of the Jedi and the Sith's timeless conflict and is inspired by classic Japanese samurai cinema. The socks in the collection were produced by Rock'Em Socks, while the other items in the line should be available at a variety of retailers, including Amazon.

The Heroes & Villains clothing company will also reveal their own separate line of Visions related apparel before the end of the month. The official Star Wars site also teases a collection of Visions merchandise and collectibles that will be available exclusively at Target stores.
Star Wars Visions was unveiled during the 2021 Anime Expo, where Disney and Lucasfilm revealed that they were creating the new Disney+ series as a collaboration with some of Japan's top animation studios, including Ghost in the Shell's Production IG, The Night is Short, Walk on Girl's Science Saru and Promare's TRIGGER. Each episode of the series will tell a self-contained story set within the Star Wars universe, with each short being produced by a different studio and creative team. The first trailer for the series was revealed in early August, alongside an all-star cast, which includes stars such as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lucy Liu, and Henry Golding. The Japanese dub of the series will also feature many of the anime industry's top voice actors, including Masako Nozawa, who is best known for providing the voice of Dragon Ball's Goku for over 30 years, as well as Akio Otsuka, the Japanese voice of Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid.
