A new teaser trailer has been released that gives Demon Slayer fans their first look at the anime series' adaptation of the popular Entertainment District Arc from the manga.
The new trailer was first streamed during the Anime Expo Lite online convention, and was later reposted to the official Demon Slayer Twitter account. The teaser features slayer Tengen Uzui, who plays a major role in the events of the upcoming season. This season of the anime is once again being produced by studio Ufotable, who previously animated the series' first season and movie, and is also known for its frequent collaborations with Bandai Namco on that company's Tales series of games.

Season 2 of the series will see Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Sound Hashira Tengen investigate reports of demon activity within a city's entertainment district. There, the heroes will do battle with Gyutaro and Daki of the Twelve Kizuki. The Entertainment District Arc, sometimes referred to as the Red Light District Arc, takes place immediately following the events seen in Demon Slayer - Kimetsu No Yaiba - the Movie: Mugen Train, and is regarded by some fans as one of the best story arcs in the manga.
The second season of Demon Slayer is scheduled to premiere sometime before the end of 2021. The first season of the anime is available for streaming on Netflix, Hulu and Funimation, while the Mugen Train movie is exclusively available on Funimation only.
