CD Projekt Red and TRIGGER's Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime has unveiled an epic new trailer and visual!
Unlike the last trailer, the latest one features English-subbed dialogue from the anime's key players. The new visual was penned by character designer Yoh Yoshinari.
The 10-episode series is slated to stream on Netflix from September 2022. Set in a vast city where technology and body modification are commonplace, it follows a boy named Youhei who becomes a “Cyberpunk” outlaw.
TRIGGER co-founder Hiroyuki Imaishi ( Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare ) will direct with Masahiko Otsuka ( Gurren Lagann, FLCL ) as assistant director. Yoh Yoshinari ( Little Witch Academia, BNA: Brand New Animal ) and Yuto Kaneko ( Little Witch Academia ) will handle character design and Hiromi Wakabayashi ( Kill la Kill ) will serve as creative director, while Yoshiki Usa will provide series composition. Silent Hill’s Akira Yamaoka will compose the score.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will premiere on Netflix in September 2022.
