Crunchyroll has announced the list of nominees for its 2021 Anime Awards.
Voting will begin on January 15, 2021, at 9:00 AM PST and end on January 22, 2021, at 5:00 PM PST. Winners will be revealed during a live-streamed program on Friday, February 19, 2021, at 5:00 PM PST. Crunchyroll has also revealed the list of judges on its official website, which consists of several community experts. The final votes are weighed 70/30, with 70% going to judges and 30% going to fans.

The 2021 Anime Awards will also be sponsored by Princess Connect! Re: Dive, the latest addition to Crunchyroll Games' portfolio. Princess Connect! Re: Dive follows a young man named Yuuki who awakens in a mystical land with no memories of his past. Yuuki soon encounters three female inhabitants and forms the "Gourmet Guild" with them. The game has also spawned an anime series which is currently available on Crunchyroll's site, and is open for pre-registration on iOS and Android.
The 2021 Anime Awards will premiere on Friday, February 19, 2021, at 5:00 PM PST.
