The fourth and final season of Attack on Titan will return for Part 2 this coming winter.
Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 1 concludes in Japan on March 29 with Episode 16, the series' 75th episode overall. A new promo announces that the show will return for Episode 76 on NHK General TV in Japan this coming winter. Furthermore, western distributor Funimation confirms that Episode 76 will premiere as part of the winter 2022 anime season (i.e. December 2021-March 2022).
"The battle is not yet over. Attack on Titan: The Final Season Episode 76 is officially in production and will arrive during the winter 2022 anime season," a blog post on Funimation's official site reads. "Attack on Titan: The Final Season Episode 76 will air on NHK in Japan. No additional details were revealed, but stay tuned for updates ahead of the series' winter 2022 return."
Attack on Titan: The Final Season began airing on NHK on Dec. 7, 2020, with Funimation and Crunchyroll streaming the anime with English subtitles. Furthermore, Cartoon Network's Toonami block began airing Funimation's English dub of The Final Season in North America on Jan. 10. Episode 11 aired today, March 28, at 12:30 a.m. ET. Notably, Hajime Isayama's original Attack on Titan manga is slated to conclude its serialized run in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine on April 9, with the 34th and final collected volume set to go on sale June 9.
Attack on Titan: The Final Season is scheduled to arrive as part of the winter 2022 anime season.
