Adapting Hajime Isayama's bestselling manga series, Attack on Titan takes place in a medieval world where a walled city is besieged by massive behemoths with a ravenous appetite for humans. As Eren joins the Scout Regiment to defend his home, he learns more about the secret history of the Titans and his connection to them.
Crunchyroll announced it would stream the fourth season of the series by the end of 2020 as it airs in its native Japan. For the final season, the adaptation changed animation studios from WIT to MAPPA, with the popular anime production company tasking new directors to oversee the series' final storylines.
Based on the manga series of the same name by Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan Season 4 premieres Dec. 7 and will be available to stream on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
