Andy Dick has been arrested following an allegation of sexual assault in California.
A man at a campground in O’Neill Regional Park in Orange County, CA, called the police at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, alleging he was sexually assaulted by the actor. Dick was arrested for the incident, which was livestreamed to YouTube by a witness.
The actor and comedian, best known for his roles on NewsRadio and Clone High and in films like Road Trip and Zoolander, has been charged with sexual battery in the past. In 2018, Dick was charged with one count sexual battery and one count of simple battery.
A year prior, he was fired from the films Raising Buchanan and Vampire Dad over sexual assault claims from multiple members of the productions. As Vox reported at the time, Dick has a long history of dodging sexual assault and harassment claims, with his actions regarded as an open secret by many in the comedy world.
Details on the latest incident have yet to be released and the story is still developing.
