While the show is being broadcast in Japan with a weekly release schedule, Netflix, which is the exclusive distributor of the series outside of Japan, has instead chosen to release new episodes of the show in batches. The streaming company released the first 12 episodes of the series all at once on Dec. 1, and international fans have had to wait 11 weeks for the Japanese broadcast to catch up in order to receive news about the show's next group of episodes.
More information about the next group of episodes is expected to be revealed on March 26, when Netflix will host an "Anime Japan Festival" livestream on its official YouTube channel. The livestream will feature appearances from Fairouz Ai, the Japanese voice of Jolene, and Mariya Ise, who portrays Foo Fighters in the anime. The event is also promising new announcements for a number of other Netflix-exclusive anime series, including Ultraman, Baki Hanma, and Kakegurui.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's Stone Ocean arc is the sixth part of Hirohiko Araki's long-running manga series. The new Joestar family member at the center of this story is Jolene Cujoh, the daughter of Stardust Crusaders' protagonist, Jotaro Kujo. Jolene is sent to prison after being framed for a deadly drunk driving accident. Following a visit from her father, she learns about her abilities as a Stand user and is drawn into a conflict with the prison's chaplain, Enrico Pucci, who is a devoted follower of her family's eternal rival, Dio.
The highly stylized and meme-able franchise first graced the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987. Araki's multi-part epic is one of the best-selling manga series of all time, with over 100 million copies in circulation worldwide. VIZ Media localizes and distributes the manga in North America. The manga series is currently on hiatus following the completion of Part 8 of the story, though it has been confirmed that Part 9 will begin once Araki returns from a break.
