In addition to hard work, Taureans will often lend a helping hand to those in need. Time and time again, Gon comes to the aid of his friends. When Lerio was stuck in the cave on Zevil Island, Gon and Kurapika ran to his aid. After Killua failed the Hunter Exam, Gon went after him. It not only hurts Gon to see his friends in trouble, but it is also unacceptable. Loyalty and determination make this sign and their friends one you don’t want to cross.
This star sign despises authority and, regardless of age or position, will question anyone they believe is wrong. Even when he is under duress, Gon will call someone out if he believes they have done something wrong. After the Spiders captured him and Killua, Gon was not afraid to call them hypocrites. He could not understand how they cared about Uvogin’s death when they murder innocent people, like Kurapika’s clan.

Gon sees the world as black and white and does not understand how evil people could have a compassionate side.
Gon also struggles to control his emotions, especially when reality contradicts his belief system. Once the stubborn Taurus is upset, there is no turning back. One does not have to look any further than his evolution into adult Gon. He was not able to let go of his rage, and it almost destroyed him. Had it not been for his guiding moon, Killua, Gon would not have survived.
