Dengeki Bunko is planning something special for Toradora!.
The official Japanese Twitter account for Dengeki Bunko announced a new project to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the beloved rom-com series. No details were mentioned concerning the nature of the project itself, which has lead to speculation if this could just mean the release of limited-time merchandise, a new OVA or even plans for a series tackling Ryuji's and Taiga's life after the original series' end.

Toradora! began as a light novel series written by Yuyuko Takemiya and illustrations done by Yasu. ASCII Media Works published the franchise under its Dengeki Bunko imprint in March 2006. The series ended its run in 2009 with a total of 10 volumes and 3 million copies sold in Japan by the time of its finale. A manga adaptation illustrated by Zekkyo was published on ASCII Media Works' shonen manga magazine, Dengeki Comic Gao! in September 2007, before it was moved to the Dengeki Daioh magazine in May 2008, where it is currently still ongoing. A spin-off series appropriately titled Toradora Spin-off! began publication in May 2007 and ended on April 10, 2010, with a total of three volumes.
A 25 episode anime adaptation produced by animation studio J.C.Staff (Food Wars!, Shakugan no Shana) and directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, A Certain Scientific Railgun T) began airing in Japan in October 2008 and ended in March 2009. An OVA episode was released along with the Blu-ray Disc box set in December 2011. The series received positive reviews, with praise being directed toward its enjoyable character dynamics, fun story and on-point comedic humor. Toradora! was selected as a recommended work in the 2009 Japan Media Arts Festival, and voice actress Rie Kugiyama won Best Actress in the 2009 Seiyuu Awards for her portrayal of Taiga Asaka.
Toradora! centers around Ryuji Takasu, a high-school student who is often mistaken for a delinquent despite his soft-spoken nature. When he meets the most dangerous student in the school, Taiga "Palmtop Tiger" Aisaka, it ends with them harboring a mutual distaste. However, Ryuji and Taiga are soon forced back together when they find out that they each have crushes on the other's best friend.
Toradora!'s light novel and manga are licensed for western release by Seven Seas Entertainment and are available in both physical and digital formats. The anime adaptation is available for streaming on multiple digital distributors, including Netflix, Prime Now, Tubi, Funimation and Crunchyroll.
