One Piece's latest film, One Piece Film: Red, has released a teaser visual unveiling the release date and main staff, as well as its connection to popular character Shanks!
In addition to the existence of a woman whose singing voice may bring "eternal happiness" or "endless imprisonment," the trailer teases the appearance of Shanks, the legendary pirate who is also known as "Red Hair."
The film will be released in Japan on August 6, 2022. Author Eiichiro Oda is credited for the original story and the role of general producer. Goro Taniguchi ( Code Geass ) will direct the film with a screenplay by Tsutomu Kuroiwa ( One Piece Film: Gold ).
A teaser visual was also revealed via the franchise's official Twitter account, alluding to "an almighty voice" and "fiery red locks."
One Piece Film: Red will open in Japan on August 6, 2022.
