My Hero Academia: Every Major Villain’s Voice Actor & Where You’ve Heard Them Before

My Hero Academia is a smash-hit anime series based on author Kohei Horikoshi's original manga of the same name, and a lot of work went into making this anime, from its well-choreographed fight scenes to the outstanding OST -- and of course, the incredible voice acting for all the characters. The heroes and villains alike really come to life with these voices.

Only a truly talented voice actor can get into character and deliver chilling, brutal dialogue as a villain in My Hero Academia, making these villains far more terrifying and sinister in the process. So, My Hero Academia fans will want to know who voices the members of the League of Villains and Shie Hassaikai, and see what other kinds of roles these voice actors have done.

Koki Uchiyama - Nisekoi & Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut

Tomura holds a box

Tomura Shigaraki, once known as Tenko Shimura, is Izuku Midoriya's greatest enemy. He is to All For One what Izuku is to the heroic All Might. Tomura suffered greatly when his devastating Decay Quirk manifested in his childhood, and he has been carrying around that pain ever since. His voice actor, Koki Uchiyama, also voiced Raku Ichijo, the protagonist of the rom-com Nisekoi, as well as Levi Leps in Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut. He also portrayed the gentle shonen protagonist Izumi Miyamura in Horimiya.

Misato Fukuen - Dragon Goes House-Hunting & A Certain Scientific Railgun

Himiko smiles enthusiastically

Himiko Toga is a villainous yandere character who strives to emulate her heroes and even kill them in the process, making her a perverse version of Ochaco Uraraka, who looks up to Izuku as her idol. Himiko can shapeshift with her Transform Quirk, and she is also an accomplished acrobat. Recently, she powered up her Transform Quirk while fighting the Meta Liberation Army and started using the Quirks of the people she can imitate. Her voice actress, Misato Fukuen, has also voiced Maika Tsuchimikado in A Certain Scientific Railgun, and more recently, Nell in Dragon Goes House-Hunting.

Akio Otsuka - Vinland Saga & Berserk

All For One is known as the symbol of evil, and he's also a walking collection of stolen Quirks, all obtained through his own Quirk, which is also called All For One. This ancient villain has terrorized Japan for many decades, and after he suffered a serious injury at All Might's hands, he started grooming Tenko Shimura to become his replacement and resume his quest to conquer Japan. His voice actor, Akio Otsuka, has been voicing many anime roles since the late 1980s, including the role of Thorkell the Viking in Vinland Saga and the Skull Knight in the 2016 adaptation of Kento Miura's manga Berserk. He also voiced the narration of Laid-Back Camp and Gouhin in Beastars.

Hiro Shimono - Demon Slayer & Attack On Titan

Dabi is a powerful villain who wields a devastating fire Quirk that creates hellish blue flames, and he has been a major threat to the heroes ever since he first appeared during the forest training camp raid. He also kept close to Hawks the double agent within the Meta Liberation Army, and he has an intensely personal connection to both Shoto Todoroki and Endeavor. His voice actor, Hiro Shimono, has voiced a wide variety of roles in his career, including that of Connie Springer in Attack on Titan and, remarkably, Zenitsu Agatsuma from Demon Slayer. He also voiced Isidro in the 2016 Berserk anime.

Kenjiro Tsuda - Fire Forece & Golden Kamuy

Overhaul was once a yakuza crime boss who sought to restore the legitimacy of Japan's traditional yakuza underworld, and he saw most other villains as rivals. He created Quirk-suppression bullets from the young Eri's own Quirk, and he defeated Mirio Togata before narrowly losing to Izuku Midoriya in their climactic final battle during the Shie Hassaikai raid. His voice actor, Kenjiro Tsuda, has voiced many anime roles since the 1990s, including roles such as Joker in Fire Force and Hyakunosuke Ogata the sniper in Golden Kamuy, in addition to Tatsu in The Way of the Househusband, Monspeet in The Seven Deadly Sins and Jigen in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

Hiroaki Hirata - After The Rain & Banana Fish

Re-Destro aims to continue the mission that Destro began in decades past: ensure that all Quirks can be freely used at will all around the world, as nature clearly intended. He has remarkable leadership abilities and a stress-based Quirk that can rapidly expand his size and strength during battle, and he once intended to crush the League of Villains. In the end, he and Tomura Shigaraki came to an understanding and merged their two organizations. His voice actor, Hiroaki Hirata, also portrayed Masami Kondo in After the Rain and Max Lobo in Banana Fish, not to mention in Fena: Pirate Princess.
