Shaman King Anime Trailer Previews Series’ Next Arc

King Amusement Creative has released a new promotional video that gives fans a sneak peek of what to expect in the next arc of the Shaman King anime reboot.

The video showcases the intense action and combat of the Shaman Fight tournament and spotlights antagonist Hao's intimidating presence. It also previews the anime's new opening theme song, "Get up! Shout!," which is performed by singer and voice actor Nana Mizuki. The new arc and theme song will premiere in the show in October.

Based on the manga series of the same name by Hiroyuki Takei, the Shaman King reboot premiered in Japan on April 1 on Tokyo TV and other TX Networks. It is slated to have 52 episodes and will adapt all 35 volumes of the manga.

Animation studio Bridge (Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, The Seven Heavenly Virtues) is producing the series with Joji Furuta (Inuyasha: The Final ActTiger & Bunny) serving as director, Shoji Yonemura (Fairy TailDigimon Fusion) overseeing the scripts, Satohiko Sano (Heybot!) providing the character designs and Yuki Hayashi (Haikyu!!Welcome to the Ballroom) composing the soundtrack.

Shaman King was released outside of Japan as a Netflix streaming exclusive on Aug. 9. While the anime has aired continuously since its premiere in Japan, only the first thirteen episodes are currently available to stream on the platform.
