The White Isle has lifted restrictions on social gatherings this week along with the other Balearic Islands.
The new rules went into effect at midnight on Wednesday, September 15, now allowing for social gatherings between 2:AM and 6:AM to take place again, while restaurants will allow groups of 8 to be seated indoors, and 12 outdoors.
Ibiza has now moved to the ‘medium risk’ zone, catching up with fellow Balearics’ who saw the same restrictions lift through the summer on islands such as Mallorca and Menorca.
Despite the continued closure of nightclubs across the island, social gatherings now have no limit, although beaches and parks will still be off-limits for gatherings after midnight each night.
The Balearic government also announced that passenger locator forms will no longer be needed when travelling for the fully vaccinated arriving from the rest of Spain.
The rules will stay in place until September 29 when they will be re-evaluated again. Currently, no nightlife is operating on the White Isle, and will likely be the last industry to reopen its doors.
Some venues on the White Isle are open outdoors, but only for seated reservations with nighttime restrictions on closure times and music levels.
