Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid is an off-beat but lovable comedy harem series, proving that the harem sub-genre isn't just for averages joes -- averages janes can get in on the fun, too. In this slapstick reverse-isekai story a fierce dragon arrives on earth, with one goal in mind: to do the laundry and cook dinner. The maid life is the only life for Tohru the dragon.
Maids have certainly established themselves as a staple in anime and manga, but Tohru is the only one (so far) that's a fire-breathing beast from another world. She is the live-in maid of the unassuming Miss Kobayashi, but she's soon joined by more supernatural creatures that join the fray to form a household of lovable misfits. The series is known for its light tone, though Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid definitely has its risque moments. But fans won't be wanting for options when it comes to getting into this series.
