Hit anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will be back this year with Season 2!
Titled Yukaku-hen, meaning "Entertainment District Arc," the new season will pick up after the events of the Infinity Train arc. Tanjiro and his friends must embark on a new mission to the entertainment district of Yoshiwara with Tengen, the Sound Hashira.
The official website announcement included a teaser visual starring Tengen in addition to a Japan-restricted trailer.
ufotable will continue to animate, with director Haruo Sotozaki and character designer/chief animation director Akira Matsushima also confirmed to return.
Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kito, Hiro Shimono, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Katsuyuki Konishi will reprise their roles as Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and Tengen Uzui.
Created by Koyoharu Gotouge, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows kindhearted charcoal seller Tanjiro, whose life changes forever when his family is attacked by demons. In order to return his sister, who is now a demon, to her former state and avenge his family, Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey.
