AliExpress is selling a strange Pokémon plushie that can either "comfort or cause nightmares." The "Pikacentipede," or what the retailer is calling the "very long Pikachu," is now available for purchase.
According to SoraNews24, the plushie can be purchased via the Chinese online retailer, AliExpress. Available in varying sizes, ranging from the smallest of 85 centimeters to the largest at 1.7 meters, which is about 5 feet long. In terms of price, they can range from 1,205 yen to 9,455 yen, or $20.99 to $89.99 USD, depending on the size.
There is no shortage of merchandise available for Pikachu, being the favorite mascot character for Nintendo's Pokémon franchise. While the critter first debuted in Pokémon Red and Blue in 1996, it was its appearance as the starter Pokémon in the anime that saw it rise to become the face of the series. It became so popular that it eclipsed its evolved form, Raichu. This trend would continue as Pikachu went on to be the star of the live-action movie Detective Pikachu, where he was voiced by Ryan Reynolds. Regarding the games, Pikachu could be caught in all but one of the eight generations, being absent from Pokémon Black and White's Pokédex.
