Fantasy anime The Promised Neverland is getting a US live action drama adaptation!
The series will be directed by Rodney Rothman ( Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse ) and produced by Masi Oka, who also handled Netflix’s live-action Death Note movie.
Original manga author Shirai Kaiu and illustrator Demizu Posuka issued comments via the franchise's official Twitter Account, expressing their excitement for this new development.

Beginning with the manga by Shirai and Demizu, The Promised Neverland revolves around a group of orphans who discover a dark secret about the orphanage in which they live and try to escape. A live action movie is also set for release in Japan this December, with the second season of the TV anime airing in Jan. 2021.
Produced by Fox 21, the series will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
