Seismic Dance Event is giving DJs a chance to join its upcoming 8.0 edition, taking place November 14 – 16 in Austin, Texas. In partnership with AlphaTheta and Dancing Astronaut, one lucky winner will receive an AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 Controller and a coveted performance slot on the Seismic Dance Event lineup.
To enter, fans must like the official contest post on Instagram and follow all entry requirements listed there. Then, head to the official contest website to submit a DJ mix. The deadline to enter is Sunday, November 2 at 11:55 PM CT and the winner will be announced on Monday, November 3.
Seismic Dance Event has also unveiled ‘Aftershocks’ – the festival’s official afterparties, hosted onsite at The Concourse Project. This year’s lineup features Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano on Friday, Lane 8 and Elderbrook on Saturday, and Four Tet and Duke Dumont on Sunday. Aftershocks are currently open exclusively to festival passholders (of any type or day), and both a festival wristband and Aftershock ticket are required for entry. Tickets for Aftershocks – along with limited remaining festival passes – are available now on the Seismic website.
