In an official collaboration with Aloe Blacc, virtual DJ kai.wav has cemented a brand new, soul-fueled house rendition of Blacc’s 2010 global hit, “I Need A Dollar.” An anime-designed product of web3 record label Hume, kai.wav burst on to the scene earlier this year, on March 15th, with an official remix of Norwegian dance veteran Matoma‘s 2022 single, “The Power.” Now, kai.wav returns with the world’s first official rework of “I Need A Dollar.”
“There aren’t many people I would trust to re-imagine ‘I Need A Dollar,'” says Grammy-nominated R&B icon Aloe Blacc. The “Wake Me Up” singer added,
“Kai.wav is literally ushering in the future of music. I’m proud to be a part of this collaboration.”
