The second Princess Principal: Crown Handler film is slated to open at cinemas across Japan on September 23!
A new key visual and trailer were released along with the news.
Princess Principal began with a 12-episode original anime series broadcast from July to September 2017. Set in an alternate 20th century London which has been divided in two following a revolution, the story revolves around five high school girl spies who plot to replace Princess Charlotte with their agent Ange. However, the princess instead offers to work with them - but only if they help her become queen.
The six-part Crown Handler film series picks up after the end of the original anime, with the Commonwealth’s new weapon going missing and the Royal Family facing a new threat.
Princess Principal: Crown Handler opens at cinemas across Japan on September 23, 2021.
