Kala Festival made its big comeback last month, promising its 2,000-strong crowd a glittering array of blissed-out Balearic Beats, white sandy beaches and bewitching sunsets.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the "Albanian Riveria," Kala celebrated its third edition this year after being forced to cancel both its 2020 and 2021 events due to the pandemic.
This year Kala welcomed the likes of 808 State, Jocelyn Brown, Palms Trax, Avalon Emerson, Jamz Supernova, Paramida, Parris, Heléna Star, Optimo and Heels & Souls.
Kicking off on Wednesday, June 8, acts were spread across four luscious stages: The Cove, Yacht Club, Splendor and Empire.
While those wanting a little something more on their holiday could head to Gjipe — a remote beach, only accessible by boat, where the lucky crowd would watch some very special one-off sets against the backdrop of a dramatic, scenic canyon.
And after a proper shift tearing up the dancefloor into the wee hours? Well, Kala has you covered with its selection of wellness activities designed to revitalise the body and soul. Guests were able to opt to take part in yoga classes, gong baths, meditations classes – even beach-side massages. We feel better already.
