Vic Mensa isn’t the only rapper denouncing R. Kelly. Taking to Twitter, Vince Staples made a series posts about the controversial R&B singer.
“This ni**a R Kelly is a fool,” he wrote, before posting a photograph the Chicago crooner in his Pied Piper costume. “Look at this ni**a,” he added. “I can’t believe y’all call me weird. I ain’t never wore a super villain disguise & a headband.”
When fans tried to stick up for Kelly based on the music he’s made throughout his career, the Big Fish Theory rapper responded: “Since you love R kelly so much have him perform at your daughters next birthday party. No? Ok thought so … I don’t care if you wrote the Happy Birthday song if you pee pee on a 9th grade girl I’m never giving you a pass the jokes flying.”
Continuing his Twitter posts, Staples referenced an infamous video tape, which was said to feature Kelly having sex with and urinating on a 14-year-old girl. In 2008, Kelly was acquitted on 14 charges making child pornography in a case that focused on that tape.
“I’m curious on why yall care so much he clearly aint care enough if he pee pee’d on a child on tape. The man pee pee’d on his own furniture,” he wrote. “Look, I won’t deny the music y’all don’t deny the pee pee. Deal? Cool.”
Vince’s comments follow a recent report, which claims that Kelly is holding women against their will in a “cult.” Kelly has denied these allegations and has said that he will continue on his current “After Party Tour.” However, his Oct. 6 concert at Los Angeles’ Microst Theater has been canceled for an undisclosed reason. Upcoming dates in Baton Rouge, Dallas, and New Orleans have also been canceled.
